Snohomish County moved its Assessor data to a new appraisal system on June 15, 2026. The current Property Search accepts a parcel number or a physical address number and street name. It does not advertise a public owner-name input. Save the 14-digit parcel number, property address, owner and taxpayer mailing address, and legal description. If an old instruction screen does not match the live Assessor site, rely on the post-migration labels.

Inspection is free. RCW 42.56.120 allows actual costs or default charges of $0.15 per paper page, $0.10 per scanned page, $0.05 per four electronic files, and $0.10 per gigabyte, plus media and postage. An agency may use an alternative flat fee up to $2 or ask for a deposit no greater than ten percent of the estimated copy or custom-service cost.

A prevailing requester may recover costs and reasonable attorney fees, and a court may award up to $100 per day. The usual filing limit is one year from the exemption claim or final installment.
